Q: What's on offer?
A: I offer DJ tuition in Bournemouth and can also teach online, so you can learn from anywhere.
Q: Do I need any experience before starting?
A: Not at all. Most of my students are complete beginners, and we start from the ground up.
Q: Do I need my own DJ equipment?
A: No - you can learn on my setup. I can also advise you on what to buy when you’re ready.
Q: Are sessions in-person or online?
A: Both. I offer in-person lessons in Bournemouth and online sessions if you’re based elsewhere.
Q: How long does it take to learn?
A: It depends on your goals, but most people start feeling confident after just a few lessons.
Q: What genres do you teach?
A: Mainly underground electronic music - house, techno, DnB, garage, breaks and more - but the core skills apply to any genre.
Q: Can you help if I've already started learning?
A: Yes - especially if you feel stuck, confused, or picked up bad habits from tutorials.
Q: What if I'm nervous or not very musical?
A: That’s completely normal. Lessons are relaxed and beginner-friendly, and everything is explained step by step.
Q: Do I need to bring my own music to in-person lessons?
A: Not at all! I already have a big bank of tunes across a range of genres, ready to go.
